Food Truck Tamales

I just stopped at a food truck called Steve's Tamales in praireville. Hands down the best tamales I ever had. They have spicy and mild but I would suggest trying a taste of the spicy before you get them because they are what they say they are, SPICY. Big yellow trailer on aireline at the corner of Hwy 73.

Actually, I can vouch for these. I've never had them from the trailer before, but my buddy brought me 2 dozen right after they made them.
I called him a few minutes later, and told him they were the best I've ever eaten.
As for being spicy, can't remember which flavor I had, but do remember them delivering a good kick.

is the truck there daily? I have to come to BR tomorrow and would love to bring some home if I like them and yes, how much a dozen?Pork or Beef or either??

They charged me $1 apiece cause I only got six of the mild. The spicy were a little too hot for me. There sign says $1 apiece or $10 a dozen.

I picked some up about a month ago...hands down the best tamales I've ever had. They were spicy, though!

Just picked up 2 dozen from the yellow trailer by 73 and Airline. Brought them back for the crew, needless to say, half are gone, half are breakfast tomorrow. VERY tasty!
I HIGHLY recommend getting the mild.

well, isn't there a difference between mexican tamales and "new orleans style" hot tamales?

Not sure you know what I was referring to. I actually messed up reading the op and assumed these were spanish type tamales, which they were, and just wanted to know what kind. Different cultures/countries do them differently. Knowing they were wrapped in corn told me what I wanted to know.
