o'keefe was out in January 2008. I doubt they signed a new contract through 2012 and then just decided to extend it an addition 2 years a month later. Don't pay attention to Daniels. He's a hack and doesn't even name his source because it's probably Jai Eugene and Tiger Todd

He said he had a copy of the contract and it said December 31 2012

so at the end of the season, it'll be a 3.7M buy out? if he can hang 9-10 wins for this season and next i say keep him, it's cheaper and it lets you throw extra cash at a top tier coach when he retires
