Utah beat #15 at home, and a few scrub teams. We may lack style points with our wins but at least our wins are against BCS teams. I don't understand why they are ranked at 9. Miami, Iowa and UF are way better than them.

eh, don't know about that, I think Miami and UF beat them 3 of 5 times, but they could outgun Iowa and us...but LSU takes them more than not, too.
I've seen them play twice and they play well.

I just want to know what tOSU has done to warrant being #2... Frankly I'd have them 7th at best. I wonder who's going to take tOSU to the woodshed this year in the MNCG.

If the Tigers can just develop any kind of vertical passing attack, and I think they can with JL at QB, then LSU will look like a top ten team.

AP is 100% not relevant to anything. Meaningless.
And anything that has the word poll in the title shouldn't be part of the BCS either. People bitch about the computers but the truth is that is ironic because the computers got it right and the computers got demoted because of it.
Tennis ranking golf ranks are all done by computer and football should be the same way.

Who cares about the polls, all we need to do is win. It doesn't matter if we win by 1 or by 100; it doesn't matter if the other tem puts 12 or 20 people on the filed. All we have to do is Win and if we continue to win and somehow win the west and play for the SEC championship then things will fall in place. Our season begins this Sat in the swamp. Oh and LSU wins in the swamp by 14. So set back enjoy a drink or 10 and have fun because the only thing I know to be true in life is: God is King and Tiger fans are always relentless. Whatever people say about Boise is just chatter to me, they desrve their ranking, they have proven over the few years that they can compete with the big boys, so until some big team proves otherwise I say GO BRONCOS!

The BCS computer programmers Sagarin and Billingsley are two of the 6 they use. Sagarin has LSU at #4, Billingsley #5.
I think Sagarin shows the ELO that the BCS uses and Sagarin has LSU at #5 in the BCS formula. So, two 5's, already.

I feel like I haven't even heard one thing about Utah this year and they're ahead of us??? We haven't looked pretty but we still have won against two ranked teams out of conference and three SEC teams....bottom line, polls at this point are irrelevant, all that matters is the UF game and I just hope it's not like it was the last time we went down to the swamp

I think that the players on the team as a group might be #9, but they are not playing like anything in the top 25. I think it would be good if they fell right now. Maybe it would cause them to refocus. Right now they are acting like "Teflon Tigers".
Did anyone hear the player at the end of the game call it "one of the biggest victories in LSU history"? He just doesn't get it!
