Defining game for Jefferson/Offense, D will have hands full...

If not now, when...too much time and excuses. He/Crowton must produce now, on center stage against a quality opponent. I think D will give up yards and points (20 plus) and LSU will drop like a rock in credibility if a loss or squeek by with a non-existant O. I believe this game tonite will define the rest of the season..it's that big!

LSU has started 4 - 0 the last 3 seasons. Tonight will be a shot at 4 seasons in a Row.
Important - YES. Defining - maybe.
We close with 4 more easy games after tonight. Miles wins tonight and he can cruise through the year.
Miles finishes 4 - 4 (which is nothing more than beating OM,ULM, McNeese and TN) and he gets another year. It would not matter if AL, FL, AU and AR all kick our arse to close the year.
Yes - it is defining but it is really for Miles getting millions more and another year from LSU.

I agree that we could completely dominate WVU. But, the offensive attack that they have could present some issues.
Three missed tackles could equal 21 points for WVU. Noel Devine is that good.
Plus, our aggressiveness on defense could work to WVU's favor if they can have success with counters, draws, and maybe even a few trick plays. It will be very important for us to be more disciplined on defense this week than overly aggressive.
If we play smart and tackle well, we could shut them down. A few mental laps could result in 20+ extra points for WVU.
