Les completely hosed this guy. Two ways to tell: Top classes and past two seasons records and Keiland Williams a #2 NFL back as an undrafted free agent.
Portis will get hurt soon like he usually does and KW will be a starting NFL Running Back in the same division as Marion Barbor, Felix Jones, Brandon Jacobs and LeSean McCoy. Good luck, KW.

Sounds like Micheal Ford is next in line to be hosed

Keiland Williams
the most under-utilized talent in the history of LSU football IMHO. It sickens me to this day.
How much of it had to do with Porter? I have heard many rumors that KW and Porter had a bad relationship....any truth to this?

That was Porters personal issues with Keiland.

Of all of Miles' faults as a coach, not starting KW is among the least of them.
No one can argue that Hester (an NFL STARTER) was the back in 2007. If you don't believe me, ask Tim "war daddy" Tebow.
After that KW had innumerable opportunities to pass CS and he didn't.
It's unlikely that any back could have made a good situation out of the OL disaster of 2009, so MIles probably kept KW from being injured by not playing him more. And the fact that KW was undrafted had nothing to do with Miles.
Mike Shanahan has made stars out of many late round draft picks, and if KW becomes the next one, it won't change the legitimacy of Miles' decision on this.

Sure blame it all on Miles.. When he and Porter had more problems than you can count..

Mike Shanahan has made a living out of taking unknown, low round pick running backs and making them into stars....he did this in Denver...Terrell Davis, Mike Bell, Tatum Bell...he is the zone blocking king....Keiland is his NEXT

all of the NFL teams hated him too.

College is to get you an opportunity. Keiland has that opportunity. If he doesn't make it, it's no one's fault but his. Sure, he may have given up some money on the front end, but if he makes it, he will get that back. He has very little wear and tear on his body. If he can prove he's an NFL back, then it will all work out for him.
Let's put this old debate to bed. There are tons of NFL starters that were undrafted or late-rounders, including Tom Brady. It happens.

this is just dumb. what you are saying is charles scott and hester should not have played as much. i don't think they were to bad at lsu. i guess you feel it's ok to hose them.
Matt cassel sat behind matt l., M.C. is starting for K.c. i guess he got hosed.
i here from this board miles plays seniority. yet, when a true frosh gets playing time over a r.s. frosh, the r.s. frosh is getting hosed.
please apply for the head coaching job at lsu so you get to play who you want.

he completely hosed Flynn too who is one of the top #2's in the NFL, and a Rogers injury away from being a starter...meanwhile Les had Flynn stuck behind an NFL flop for 3 years

I drafted him as my last pick in one of my fantasy leagues

I heard Tom Brady didnt start much in college, he starts alot in the NFL, Im sure there are many many examples of this happening. The truth is, I don't know enough , and am not privy to what goes on in college or NFL practices. I could throw out an opinion on this, but I would probably be wrong

So either
1. LSU had so much depth that KW was 3rd string or
2. Miles plays favorites
or
3. Miles can't develop talent
or
4. Miles is a poor judge of talent
I will go ahead and eliminate #1

Everybody screaming that Les hosed KW seems to forget he made some big plays, but for the most part never was able to see daylight to run to.
Most blatant example I remember was against App State, Keiland got in the game in the red zone, and and we stalled out- I remember several runs where he just danced around in the backfield, when there was plenty of open field.
One was a toss sweep to the right, and he easily had the corner, and instead cut right into a linebacker.
Scott was more decisive in his runs.
