THIS is total BS in my opinion. He had a mature Matt Flynn.
JJ is HIS guy. I know he didn't recruit JL, but still should have had him ready when RP went to shite.

Go back and see his stats from previous coaching days at Oregon and Utah. EVERY year was progressively worse even with his people in there. He is a one and done kind of coach. I stated this when we hired him and will stand by it.

And you can look at this further by his stint in the pros with the Bears too. He has a history of being good for a year or two, then the defenses 'figure out' his schemes, & he becomes dead in the water, unable to regenerate his offensive playbook...
