how many LSU fans were at the game saturday? nm

I think the estimate was 30k from some article. Don't have a link, sorry.
I can tell you that it was kind of weird outside because 70 to 80% of the tailgates were LSU and most of the fans walking around at the fanzone inside the Congress Center were LSU, but we didn't outnumber the UNC fans by a whole, whole lot in the Dome. They must have been hiding under a rock until game time!

Not exactly sure bout the # but I was really suprised when I saw there were almost as many UNC fans as LSU. I know they are closer but I still figured we'd have more than UNC.

I thought we out numbered by about 10 to 15k. They were pretty tight on the bottom tier but the middle and top were scarce. We were jam packed on all 3.

Frick that. I got a letter from TAF saying that drinking is prohibited in tailgating areas at Vandy. I'll be in my chair for this one.

The school lot is fine. We did this in 2005.

I was there with a group of eight people. I can't tell you the attendance numbers but I can say that there was a line at the men's room on the LSU side and no lines on the UNC side.

Exactly my thoughts-never would have dreamed there were that many inside judging from the other venues we visited. Maybe they heard stories about our raping and pillaging ways and took cover inside where there was plenty of security.

I was there w/ 2 others. I agree w/ other posters...seemed like tailgating was all LSU. I was shocked when we walked into the dome to see so much blue. Appeared to me to be even.

I was there. In the dome it looked like we had more people. We were full on all three levels of the stadium...............UNC was only full on the bottom level. Neither end zones were full. They announced the crowd as 68K.............but I think it was closer to 50K in actual attendance.

Looked like there were about 30,000 LSU fans there.
