We could be Ole Miss. Just watched the end of their game. Similar scenarios, up big 30-10. Took their foot off the pedal and let the mighty Gamecocks of Jacksonville St come back and beat them in their own stadium.

We are 1-0 no matter how you look at it. It is still way too early to start folding on this team. Go back and watch the replay, LSU dominated for 3-1/2 quarters you have to admit. They held strong and are moving on.

In other words, DON'T JUMP!!

This is true.

Sunday morning, I took the hotel shuttle to the Atlanta airport. The driver asked me why I was so down. I asked him if he had seen the game. He had.

He said, look, you got a win. Doesn't matter if it's by one or one hundred. It's a win. Then he said he was from Oxford. He added, "we can't say we got a win."

His point was well taken. I'm still worried, but it could have been worse.

Les just hasn't had long enough yet.

Just give him time.

While I am happy we are 1-0, I don't think many people realize that we were 2 yards away from being just like Ole Miss.

Dear God, have we fallen so far that our fans are just happy we didn't lose to Jacksonville St?

We just need to lower our expectations. Let's ignore the problems and just be happy we aren't Ole Miss. Our performance doesn't matter because we won. Let's just live in denial because it's easy.
