LSU didn't hit the ball first. Our player got hit before the ball got to him. That's kick catch interference.

My understanding is that if the players makes a move towards the ball (like the LSU player did last night), they're fair game.

I think if it bounces it doesn't matter.

Yep. Let's hope that the SEC officials review(now that is the big joke) reams the crew there for not calling it when it was obvious even at normal speed.
