When I first moved here, Houstonians recommended I drive down to Kemah to find good seafood markets. They described an area near the Kemah bridge, but they kept emphasizing Kemah. So I made the drive and wasted 30 minutes before one of the locals told me that they have never understood why Houstonians do that. I swore I would never be one of those people that misled fellow Louisianians about where to get good fresh seafood at low prices. This meant I had to refer to Seabrook, not Kemah to avoid letting good people waste their time due to lazy directions.
