Can you sum up what PM's press conference is about after he is done and post on here? I will be leaving work then and won't be able to catch it.

He was quite positive about the outlook ahead. Quick notes...
-Had a very emotional phone call with Ranaudo last night.
-Thinks the class will be lead by Jones, Gausman, Eades, and Ross.
-Bourgeios and Rittiner will NOT be on the 35 man roster.

adam, PM mentioned looking into getting some of the 2011 recruits to graduate in the winter and enroll for the spring
how does that work? would they be eligible to play the 2011 season?
also, PM seemed very upbeat, certainly more than last year. i liked his attitude of or we're gonna live and die by youngsters. i got a little excited listening to him, should be an interesting season at least

I don't remember hearing him say that, but it would similar to Russell Shepard for football. Graduate in December and begin practing with the baseball team in January for the upcoming season. I haven't seen a top tier kid do this simply because it takes your name off the draft board.

I just finished listening to it. He opened up the possibility of having guys committed for the next class enroll early from HS and also mentioned Spencer Ware as a possibility for the roster but said "I don't think today's the day to talk to Les about Spencer." (his lol, not mine)

Now that I think about it Levi Michael from UNC was an 09 grad who enrolled in the spring semester and played on the 09 squad.
