re: Creepiest experience in the outdoors

One story that wasnt creepy for me but hilarious because it creeped out some guys we were hunting with. We went coon hunting on my place in Bienville parish with some guys my dad knew from work. We were up on this elevated area above a creek bottom and the dogs started trailing a coon. We waited for them to tree, but they never did. Then you heard the dogs yelping and they came hauling arse back to the 4wheeler. They jumped in their dog box and wouldnt come back out. My dad and I figured they probably jumped a hog. It was no big deal to me and dad but it really freaked the other guys out because they didn't know what it could have been. Then my dad starts on this story about how his grandma used to be this big voodoo priestess, and black magic this and that. Those guys were so freaked out they loaded their stuff and took off.
