Right on. You are probably right, but to be honest, most of the stuff I have learned has been from the relationships I've developed with other brewers and talking about it at times other than meetings. The meetings really are just about office politics and drinking. I have really learned a lot from other guys at other times and have also been able to share what I've learned. It is also a great way to have access to equipment and cheap bulk ingredients.
