Congrats to the Saints. Bama fans have a legit gripe though as they were the only team to go undefeated for the entire season and defeated the toughest competetion to get there.

Sorry but if an ubdefeated season is your major criteria, the award HAS to go to the UConn Lady Husky basketball team. They are undefeated in back to back seasons. I think they are 78-0 during that span. frick Bama & their Asshat of a coach!

Top 5 matchups are actually somewhat common in women's college basketball, UConn has beaten numerous top 5 teams over the past couple years. They didn't nearly choke to their mediocre rivals either, they dominated everyone. The Saints deserved it and UConn was 2nd.

You do realize that their 78-0 record includes 2 Big East tournaments and two NCAA tournaments, plus regular season conference games, not to mention the quality OOC games they schedule?
