I want to scream.

I mean NO DISRESPECT to anyone BUT wasn't there in large part HUMAN ERROR or BAD DECISION MAKING involved here???

IF SO, you don't shut down the industry for that.

I'm getting REALLY PISSED OFF AND FEEL THE NEED TO SCREAM SO I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS ... it's NOT making me feel a damn bit better.

Screw em all.

eta: I'm so pissed that I replied without reading any of the above posts ... sorry. I'm still not any happier.

I agree 100%. People want to point the finger at Bush and his relations with oil companies, what a crock. The tests and warnings were in place, they were just ignored. At some point, people must realize that that individual is to blame. If his employer has taught or trained him to think 1. production then 2. safety, then I can blame those above him as well.

If a truck driver was speeding and rolled his tanker truck and huge explosion killed some people, do you think the government would shut down interstate trucking industry?
