Keep saying that if it makes you feel better. BP has 3 major incidents in the last 5 years that are a result of negligence/stupidity. I'm beginning to see a pattern.
The problem is if you keep letting rogue/irresponsible operators have major f-ups, then the whole industry (even very responsible operators) gets buried under a mountain of regulations and moratoriums.
How do you suggest preventing a single company from having major incident after major incident?
