I'm looking at his opponents too. I was still shocked but the Serra win over GSP was more shocking. This will easily be the more memorable upset though.

This is a disaster for Strikeforce. Fedor drover their ratings and I can't imagine he will continue to be as big of a draw.

The Fedor/Overeem fight would have been a MONSTER draw. Pretty sure it would have been PPV (maybe CBS). Now I would just expect it to be on showtime, unless they put Fedor and Silva on the undercard which they probably will. CBS MIGHT pick it up at that point, maybe...

I'd link it but thread is deleted. You weren't the only one hitting on a dude in that thread.

Werdum/Overeem will not generate half the interest that a Fedor/Overeem fight would have. What will they do with Fedor for his next fight? With only one fight left on his contract I imagine they would want to give him the winner of Werdum/Overeem.

it was pretty epic

btw i like Dana. i don't see the big problem. He goes after what he wants and tries to do what he can do when he can do it. Also doesn't like being oushed around, which as a promoter i would think you have to do. He's a lot better than this guy

Might be the case. Good thought. I would guess it will depend on if SF and M-1 come to some sort of agreement on potential future fights. I suspect if M-1 only stays committed to the one more fight (probably will), SF will just wait for the winner and eventually schedule for early 2011.

I'm three sheets to the wind drunk right now but I'm 100% positive you hit on a dude. As sure as Kige is a R-tard.
