what are you smoking; granted, hester showed a gritty determination not seen in tiger stadium for quite some time. but the notion that the OL didn't do its part - especially on the last drive - well ------ SIMPLY WRONG

Good point. The Gators almost knew what was coming, and still couldn't stop it despite loading the box.

Not to be disrespectful but if you go back and watch the game, on some of the critical runs Jacob was being hit 2 to 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage and he broke tackles and mad the necessary yards. In the Kentucky Charles Scott in the same situation got tackled by the ankle and fell short. Anyone who doesn't give Hester credit don't know squat about football. He will never be remembered for being an elite back as for as yardage goes but he will be remembered in history as a back with a tremendous heart. And he had more to do with the championship because without him, LSU wouldn't have played in the game.
