I haven't made a prediction yet but I don't think 10-2 would be that unexpected.

I voted 10-2. I don't see any guaranteed losses, but there are say 5 that could really go either way. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to win 3 of those 5.

You should be polling the assclowns who wrote that we'd go 6-6 or worse.

I said conservatively. 2/4 of the W/Ls isn't too crazy I guess.

They are delusional. The fallout will be epic when those seven losses roll up.

Still alot of optimism among Tiger fans even though I keep reading how negative the Rantards all are.

10-2 was the most popular pick last year on the same poll if I remember correctly, followed by 11-1.

Contrary to popular folklore here that was posted over and over that everyone picked LSU to go 9-3 before last season. Many more folks picked better than that.

Not quite as optimistic this year, far fewer 11-1's..but still pretty darn optimistic all things considered.

I could say the same thing for all the rantards that are calling for a 5, 6 or 7 win season.

Here you go...

9/4 North Carolina - - Win. First game of the year and staff has all the time in the world to prepare a solid game plan.
9/11 at Vanderbilt - - Win. This is the worst team in the SEC.
9/18 Miss. State - - Win. They played us tough at home last year. The team will be more focused and roll at home.
9/25 West Virginia - - Win. Home game against a marquee name that played in a BCS bowl recently. The power running game should break out in this game.
10/2 Tennessee - - Win. Tennessee has lost so many players they will be thin everywhere and will be lucky to have a winning season.
10/9 at Florida - - Loss. Playing in the swamp is tough and LSU will lose a close one on the road.
10/16 McNeese St. - - Win.
10/23 at Auburn - - Loss. Auburn will be a solid 8-9 win team this year and they have a way of winning games they should not at home. The curse of the SEC refs gets LSU again in the state of Albama.
11/6 Alabama - - Win. LSU has been either winning or tied in the 4th quarter of the last two games. This year they finish the job at home and get a W against bama.
11/13 UL-Monroe - - Win.
11/20 Ole Miss - - Win. Ole Miss has lost most of the skill/line talent which made them competitive in the SEC the last 2 years. They will have a return to 6-7 win seasons.
11/27 at Arkansas - - Win. Defense wins and Arkansas does not have one. They will win some games by outscoring teams but they will not beat the top teams in the SEC that field very good defenses.

why would you care what one predicts. we will win one that wasn't expected and lose one that wasn't expected........no one EVER predicts a season correctly.
