Not sure if Scott is still on it though. It is owned by an Oregon booster who lent it to Scott to sort out the expansion deals.

Any ideas as to what they are up to?

Some people have suggested Vegas as the neutral site for a PAC-10 CG

Ted Miller might not really know anything...just said that Vegas sounds cool.

Well I would say the Utah rumor would be out. Don't picture the Mormons meeting in Vegas to talk.

Is there not something morally unethical for a NCAA Conference head to make his way to Vegas. I mean we all think the big conferences are corrupt and having referees shave points for them anyway (see Arkansas Florida game last year) but does this prove it? College football is a point spread betting game and I am sure it is not 100 percent on the up and up. A lot worse than professional sports IMO.

The plane is no longer available for tracking!

Probably means the PAC-10 officials just got caught where they shouldn't be.

Maybe just gambled away all the money from Oregon State to try and buy UT

Mormons have a deep history in LV, they helped build the city, and currently make up 10% or more of it's populace. They were in Vegas, long before Bugsy Siegel and the Mob took a fancy.

Just because they don't drink caffeine, alcohol, or gamble, doesn't mean that the Marriotts of the world, will not make money off those that do.

They need a stadium (not Boyd Stadium) that could host a conference championship game first. He is in Vegas for gambling and hookers.

thoughts on where they hold the PAC CCG?

Rose Bowl would be an obvious choice but it's the same venue the winner would often play their next game - No stadium in Las Vegas has the seats to host a decent crowd obviously

Geographically I guess northern california would make sense

Agreed, Boyd Stadium is a joke outside of UNLV Football purposes.

But, like with Conf-CGs and Bowls..the real draw is in being able to double-up..go to your school's Conf-CG or Bowl Gm, and a trip to Vegas, all on one tab..or tax write off, if schedule some seminar or CEUs.
