Mickey Johnson's top 2

I don't think this has been posted yet even though its been out a few days. Mickey has listed his top 2 in UCLA and Nebraska. I would have thought LSU would be in the mix at the top but I guess his latest visit to UCLA was a good one.

Nebraska to the small 10 might help us out... and UCLA catching SC on the downside is a good selling point also

His Mom wants him at LSU, close to home. I know he is from California, but don't think they are moving back there.

Keep in mind that it's been long-suggested that he is going to enjoy his recruitment process and will have fun with it.
I wouldn't worry about anything just yet. I feel good with Freak and company working on him.

Some kids just make total mockery of the recruiting process. Maybe he pulls a Ray Ray Armstrong or Andre Debose.

I don't mind then waiting it out because it's a big decision to make, but those who turn it into a game taking up time that can be used for someone else to get a lil shine piss me off. I just can't wait to see one of our guys light their asses up when the get on the field.

Are you serious? Mickey is a beast I have worked with him personally and he is on another planet compared to Q. Thomas. Mickey is very outgoing and is having fun with the process, it's funny how an 18 year old kid say something and we jump to conclusions so easily. Mickey is a top 10 defensive tackle in my opinion and is a bigger need than Rasco and Sylve.

too many people we pumping LSU after the family day visit. This was to be expected. Mickey is savvy of the process and knows how to increase notoriety and his possibly his ranking, by having many schools thinking they will get you and pimping you. Hopefully he chooses to be a tiger in the end, but it doesn't seem as if anything that makes it to print can be taken too seriously.

i wouldnt wait it out on this kid..i kno he's a talented prospect but i think its time we start pursuing guys like chuck hunter or gerrand johnson

When questioning Johnson's character (which I think is totally off-base) I think we should remember that the only person that NEEDS to know who his top 2, 5, 10, etc. are is the coaching staff at the schools that are recruiting him.
Just because he tells the media sources, the ones that have helped to turn recruiting into a game, doesn't mean the coaches aren't well aware of his intentions. The coaching staff doesn't hang on every word of scout, rivals, and ESPN like ya'll do.
