just read my post. that's all i did. download HotSpot Shield. I guess don't run it yet. Go to ESPN3 and sign in/create an account. Play a video that isn't blacked out. choose your Internet Service Provider if it asks you to. then x out of ESPN3. run the HotSpot Shield. go back to ESPN3. play video that is blacked out. if it asks you to pick your ISP/sign in, then do those things and you should be good.

i did that but it still says blacked out. why the hell is this blacked out in DC???

You may have to activate remote access on your espn3.com account in order to use the hotspot shield.
