Italian Food Market - Is this the place on Johnston by the smoke shop? I didn't know they served food.
Nice restaurant behind Crossroads bookstore on Johnston St, near the intersection with Guilbeau. It's not a market.
They have what I would call "fresh" tomatoe sauce. It's not a heavy sauce like you find at most Italian restaurants. Taste like fresh tomatoes.
I recommend the chicken cacciatore and the osso buco.
Very Good.

Is premium - best I've ever had and the beef stew. The owner is a true sicilian off the boat. It really is his sauces - I've never had better.

This place is good. When he was at his other location it was more of a market. He had the best imported pasta and a good Italian sausage from Chicago. The pasta had a very good aroma after cooking it. I haven't been able to find pasta like that in any store and he no longer sells it.
