Glad to hear Sand Dollar is not blocked off anymore. I heard it was the 7,8,and 9th.

Not true.

We launch out of Sand doller last Saturday 8th and had not problems.

Lots of boom and workers sitting at the dock. And they are using the pavillion next door.

But we hit the 7 mile rigs with out a problem.

Saturday night and sunday it seemed like the National Guard was moving in...

But thats about it.

I could not understand why no one was down there. The Island was empty.
Saturday night I did not see a car pass on the hwy for an hour it seems.

Kajungee, how was the water down there? Do you know if anyone went further offshore, like in the 20 - 30 mile range? I can't remember when the federal closure started so obviously there's no point in going now, but maybe they went before the closure.
