Just finished DR. It was not nearly as good as H1K. It could have been alot better. That being said, both were better than Zombie's Halloween remake. H1k is one of the best horror flicks in a long time. I wish he would have spent more time on DR and finished it up better. I will miss Cpt. Spaulding. Loved the way the family cussed at each other everytime they spoke, also did a good job with the music in both. Two sick movies.

I'm not man enough to watch movies like this. I hate torture porn shite. And yes, I know DR was actually pretty well received critically.

Saw that scene on Bravo's Scarier Movie Moments. Great scene, very vintage 70's looking homage type shite. But...ew.

I wouldn't equate either of those with torture porn like Hostel or Saw.
