LSU Baseball or LSU Football.

No flames on coaching staffs please. I really just want honest opinions. They can be supported with reasons or facts. Just dont say "Baseball cuz Miles is a retard".

In football, we are loaded to the gills with skill position talent with a lot of promising incoming freshmen and solid commits in the trenches. We have decent coaching staff with our recent additions and with the right QB, good things can happen, with ease.

In baseball, we have solid talent across the board but could use some depth in pitching and a couple of solid, consistent bats. We have the advantage of having one of the best coaches in the league and a talent rich state.

I say FOOTBALL with a surprise. But that might be more wishful than thoughtful.

What say you?

I just think baseball is easier to win an NC merely due to the length of the season. Mistakes aren't magnified as much as football.

I think they are almost equally as hard to win. There is only one champion per year, per sport. There are either exactly of almost exactly the same ammount of teams competing. One, you have to play in a grueling tournament and then beat somebody numerous time in a series. The other, your regular season is your playoff and you cant mess up. But lately, the SEC has made it easier for SEC teams to make it all the way because of the stiff competition

Baseball 2011. Football right behind in fall of 2011 and basketball makes the final 4 in April 2012.

Didn't.

The reverse was similar though, roundball F4 '06,
football BCSNC '07, baseball CWSNC '09.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Football. As previous poster said, 1 loss in SEC play still gets you to Atlanta. Win that and you're in.

We've got some hellacious young talent. When Shep's a Junior/Senior his leadership will be off the charts. And with Sam Montgomery and Mingo/Rasco/Maclin coming off the edge with the Freak, Downs, Brockers in the middle, the smash mouth LSU front on D will be back. Keys to championships IMO.
