I'm going to start growing my own herbs. I want Parsley, Thyme, Mint, and probably rosemary. What conditions do they need to thrive? i'm gonna keep em in pots and will either hang them under the carport or put them near a window.
What's the best placement for good healthy herbs?

i have mint in my garden, its just sitting in a pot and gets sun about half the day. i usually water my yard every other day if its warm like it is right now. the stuff grows like weeds!

Pretty much somewhere outside will work. My wife, who has a brown thumb, tends to our herbs and they are thriving.

Mint is very invasive. Plant it in a pot to keep if from taking over.
duh
You are putting it in a pot. Sorry, I'm a skim reader!
