"I can tell you right now, he's going to be an awesome running back in the future," said another Tigers running back, Stevan Ridley." He's going to be a great running back for us this year."What you don't realize is how strong he is and how fast he is." Miles said of Ford." He makes very good cuts. Tuesday he makes a nice cut and he gets in the secondary, and it's tough to catch him." Apparently, he must be something special when a teammate like Ridley, who has been the projected starter speaks in such glowing terms. I think this coming season is going to be extra special. Especially with the infusion of the new coaches Gonzales, Wilkerson and Wilson.

I like what I'm hearing this spring about the defense. The offensive line and QB are my major concerns. I like JJ and you can tell the young man is trying but does he really have "IT". No more excuses about being inexperienced. LSU's got the weapons...OL and JJ need to step up NOW.

And just think when Hill and Hilliard arrive. Hilliard is going to be a Beast.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that last year you had guys like Ealey (UGA) and McCalebb (Auburn) who put up yards behind o-lines that were not the best in the conference. We need that kind of performance from from a couple of our RBs: guys who can make things happen even if our o-line isn't stellar.

I hope Ford is great. I don't know how much Murphy can give with his bad knees and I'm not really sold on Ridley being a starting SEC running back.

And I swear I'm going to lose my shite if JJ runs the option with Ridley to the short side of the field!!!

I personally would love to see RS and RM run the option. But I agree I may not handle it too well if I have to watch JJ and Ridley try the short option
