With good DT's getting double teamed I think he has a shot at least 10 sacks based on his measurables...let's hope it translates on the field(against OTHER Olines).

Under. Barring injury, he won't be a starter at anytime this year. You guys are dreaming.

Barring injury? He may have started without Aghayere's shoulder.

You can bet his playing time just went up.

He'll have to prove his worth against the run in order to reach his potential. I don't think it will take him long. About as long as it takes to put on 15 more pounds.

No way in hell he runs a 4.4. Every LSU player runs a 4.3, 4.4 or 4.5 til they get to the combine and run 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7

And Alem was misused. Should have played end on the punt return team. I know he could have gotten back there to the punter easily...

When NFL QB's transition to a standard 15 step drop Alem will be MONEY.

I don't think he'll have more than 5 sacks, but honestly, way too much importance is put on sacks at the DE position. If he stops the run, doesn't get sucked in repeatedly on fakes, keeps the mobile QB contained, and doesn't just rush straight up the field past the QB, I'll be happy.

This is what Big Sam hopefully brings to the table this year. Alem and his constant rushing of ghost men QB's got really fricking old.
