If they use the same hotel as last year, the Embassy Suites is the team hotel. We stayed there this past year and it was pretty cool interacting with the players there. Pretty steep, though. Rooms were just under $400/noght ($375, I think), but most of the hotels near Rosenblatt were about the same speed.
On tickets, GA tix are available at face value, but I personally prefer getting reserved seats. The GA seats are first come, first served, and the lines to get in were pretty crazy, especially for LSU games.
As for bars, Barrett's Barleycorn (of course), and we really like Upstream Brewery as well.
