All of the analyst were raving over his speed and burst out of his breaks. It didn't show him drop a pass either. Daryl Clark was discusted when he realized he had to throw the deep ball to Holliday. He chunked it and Holliday had to wait on it. Holliday also caught it cleanly.

I have asked this question before, but how come we NEVER threw him a deep route at LSU. At least it would have stretched the safeties and opened up the middle of the field.

Crowton needs

Good luck to Trindon

He's small so he's easy to knock off his route at the line and any DB close to him down the field would have a significant advantage getting to a ball in the air.

I think they did once against Arkansas, but they didn't do it consistently

Holliday will make more money in Track than FB. Track is his ticket. With his size, he probably won't last long at all in the NFL.

Solid? As it stands he still probably won't get drafted.

Lulz. Just poking him at the line would be enough to disrupt a Holliday fly. Additionally, the height advantage safeties would have on him over the top all but makes that play impossible.

When they listed him as a RB - he lead all in 40 time, vertical jump and 3 cone drill. 3 out of 4 categories isn't too bad. someone will take a risk with him in about the late 6th round I believe.

We have not had a QB that could throw him the deep ball.

It doesn't matter how fast someone is, safeties are supposed to be over the top. Most of the time, you throw it up and a WR is trained to either catch it, or make sure it isn't picked. Holliday is too short to stop the interception and/or catch it over a db.

dude he's 5 foot 5, deep covered by 6 ft safeties and cb's

as a general rule a deep ball will be somewhat of a jump ball
