It was a good first win. They came out, knocked off the rust they had from the off-season and started their march to repeat as National Champions.

Renaudo and Ott, the cornerstones of the pitching staff, looked great. Watkins is going to be fun to watch. The bats should warm up tomorrow.

It seems you are h-e-l-l bent on posting negatively about a sport that is so much different than football. This is a sport in which any team with good players playing as a team from any classiffication can beat any team from any classiffication. So cool down and let the team develope, it will take several ballgames maybe even a month for the team to come together as a team be the team that we know they are. So cool down and stop trying to be so negative that is why your posts are getting whacked.

5-4 win with only 4 hits and only two of our runs earned....not quite sure that's all good. You know it was Centenary's first game too in an environmnent they don't play in ever.
Now, baseball is so different than the other big two. Games like this happen. Not worried. But it didn't give me the warm fuzzies either.

ETA: Somebody had a thread last week about the variations on his name! Anyway, at least I screwed up his name while complementing him and not trashing him. Not being a particularly strong speller or grammar guy myself, I rarely join the spelling/grammar police. I just couldn't help myself last week with WCT because of the stupidity of his posts.
