Not true. Trinton is faster. Trinton ran 10 flat in the 100 meters. Cannon ran 9.4 for 100 yards.

At that time, the world record for the 100 yard dash was 9.3. Cannon won the SEC 100 yard dash, AND the shotput. He was truly an exceptional athlete.

I happened to watch a documentary about the old AFL.
I couldn't believe that NO MENTION of the original N01 pick of BOTH leagues signing with the Houston Oilers as the Heisman Trophy winner.

They spent a lot of time showing "Broadway" Joe Namath, where he played in college, his panty hose commercials, his white fur coat, his white cleats, his late night bar hopping, yada, yada.
