Dandy Don is a moron.

Just because some 2 stars are successful doesn't mean all of them are

Johnson and Jackson were three star players. Hester had offers from Miami and Texas.

Keep telling yourself winning recruiting battles against average programs is going to work out.
You'll be wishing for 9-4 seasons.

I'll take a team full of 2 stars that want to be here over a team of 5 stars who don't! Exclamation points!!!!

Everyone develops differently. Its plausible a lesser rated HS player could develop into a very good college athlete while a highly thought of recruit fails to make progress in college. Not only is that plausible but it occurs regularly. The key is to spot the ones who have the upside to improve. I like Dandy Don but he's not offering any keen insight here.

FWIW, Billy Cannon was a 2 star.

But we dont have any 2 stars in this recruiting class... Just a bunch of those damn 3 and 4 star ones that dont make it to the NFL.
