imho it is huggy bear..

if you look at his career he has had two losing seasons since becoming a head coach back in 1980, (and it has been twenty years since his last one). Bob Huggins can coach up a team with the best of them, and he is almost an equally good recruiter.

i couldn't help but watch K-State game last night and think, "man, i wonder if k-state would really be that good if huggy bear wasn't there". I don't think they would even be in the same ball park.

I believe that huggy bear will turn the 'eers into a powerhouse in the next couple of years. If you have been watching the WVU this year you notice the discipline and sound techniques that huggy bear preaches constantly. But i whole heartily believe that Huggy Bear is the best coach in college basketball right now.

I actually like Huggins. He's just so open about what a scumbag he is. It's rather refreshing, the sheer lack of hypocrisy.

I beleive his top assistant stayed and took the head coacching job when he left KSU.
The two of them had recruited some questionable players there and someone had to stay to babysit them.

Wow. No Pitino mention? He gets my vote. Body of work speaks for itself: Took Providence to the Final 4. Resurrected a crippled UK program after the Sutton sanctions. Resurrected the once-proud UL program from the abyss back to elite status.

After him it's Calhoun, Izzo, Wright.

Calipari and Huggins are spectacular coaches who I wouldn't want anywhere near my program b/c of the slime factor.

Norm Roberts (sarcasm)

I'm going to have to go with Boeheim, K, and Izzo.

Love him or Hate him, its gotta be Coach K.

If I had a son who was one of the top recruits in America, and had offeres from all of the big name schools I would want him to play under Coach K.
