He IS a good coach IMO. He has made some dumb mistakes - but he's a good coach.

All I need to keep that opinion is to look at him beating Bob Stoops 2X in 3 years while at OSU -- with far less recruiting might and talent -- Mack Brown and UT with all their National Recruiting championships could not do it -- not even ONCE when OU and Bob Stoops were on top of the heap.

We have a good coach - and there is NOT ONE (not even Alabama) program I'd rather be at this moment.

Sure, I'd trade our situation for the NC this year -- but it's going to change again and when I look at:

UT -- no coach and no staff - 3 weeks before national signing day

UF -- maybe we have Urban, maybe we don't?

UK -- old coach retired... who do THEY get?

UGA -- embattled coach, no DC - annual underperforming team for 3 - 5 years

OM -- Nutt will settle in to Ark-type mediocrity

ARK -- Petrino may leave for someplace better for recruiting in the next few years -- perinnial SECW 2nd or 3rd finisher

MSU -- dammed if the DO - dammed if they DON'T -- if Mullens wins -- he'll leave for a better recruiting situation and $$ -- if he doesn't win -- they still suck

UT -- Lane f'ing Kiffen --- 'nough said

AU -- is Chiz really going to right the ship? they have not WON the SECW is how many years????

As I said -- LSU and Les Miles are not on top today and are not perfect -- but there is no situation I'd rather have when I look around the SEC and college football in general. We are NOT that far out... a break here and there and a better decision here and there and WE are in the hunt until the very end.

Can you specifically name games where Miles outsmarted the other coach? Not where we clearly had more talent, but where the talent was even or the other team had more and LSU won because of Miles in-game coaching.
