Any possibility this occurs? Or is Jason Garrett the man from here on out?

Dallas is playing arguably better than any other team in the NFL right now. It doesn't appear Wade Phillips is going anywhere.

Besides, I don't think Jerry Jones wants a coach with an ego like Saban's. Less control for Jerry.

Wade Phillips contract expires this year. Also Jones said he would wait to decide whether to resign Phillips until after the season ends.... I personally think Wade is out, Jason Garrett is the obvious successor. I only question if Jones would pursue a Saban like coach. Everything is in place in Dallas to be successful, they just haven't put the pieces together.

Judging by Cowher's recent responses to any job openings, he doesn't appear to be interested in coaching. John Gruden is more likely.
Jeff Fisher feels like sloppy seconds, his future as well as Jack Del Rio's is in College Football.

Saban already said he'd never go back to the pros because its no fun to coach adults who make more money than the coach. He's not idolized by the NFL guys so he'll never, ever go back. Spurrier basically said the same thing.

Exactly. Why go to the NFL to make a little more money than you are making at the college level. The NFL isn't better for many coaches and there are many headaches that come with being in the league that you don't have to deal with at the college level.

If Jerry wants Saban money would be no issue.

As mentioned, Saban doesn't like the Pro players salaries, egos, attitudes. He makes near 4M in college plus extra incentives and endorsements.

imho..the only way we see Saban back in the NFL, is after another one or two NCAA titles at Bama, and they would have to happen relatively quickly, then an elite NFL franchise loaded with talent come calling, as for him to want a Super Bowl ring for his ego. And let him have controls that NFL teams and offices do not let but rare few HCs have..too many stars must align..not gonna happen!

And probably also need to be a deep south team, not far from Lake Burton.

Saban isn't leaving Bama, not for NFL, not for USC, not for Penn State, not for Notre Dame.

LSU is just gonna have to deal with him and Bama.

Ok I get that...But he is such a driven person that it has to eat at him that he failed at the NFL. At some point I can see him wanting to fix that. Not saying it's anytime soon but eventually.

Jason Garrett will not be the next HC at Dallas. Jones will go get Harbaugh.

Does Harbaugh want the NFL like his brother..or be a college guy?

He is now 5 years older and 5 years wiser. He fled the NFl after two years in it so it wasn't as appealing as he thought. He's the King of Bama now just like he was the King of Louisiana in 2004. He regretted leaving LSU and I don't think he's going to make that mistake again.
