The guy was just stating his point of view jackass! I love how a lot of people on here take pot shots at people for making a statement on what there point of view is. The name calling is f****** childish. I think his point is that they both play in weak arse conferences. I am not sure where they would fall in the SEC, but I would think it would be some place around were MSU and Vanderbilt are.

I mean come on, Mountain West and Western Athletic

Straight from the other thread about TCU & Boise...
quote:

You do realize that the entire SEC only has 3 ranked teams (one of them LSU). UF & Bama are very good. But the rest of the SEC is nothing special. Just look at the bowl games.

Maybe they do get killed by Fla or Bama. What does that mean? Plenty of good teams would. The rest of the SEC is mediocre, at best. Either of those teams would be the 3rd best SEC team and the best team in some BCS conf. To say they don't deserve it is just weak.
And I've long been against these non-BCS teams. But you can't deny that those teams are very good (& they've been doing it for a while now). Cincy is much more of a farce than either of those teams.

agreed. UF would annihilate those teams. In comparison with the SEC I'd say Boise is Arky and TCU is USCe. Neither has won an SEC title since....

Put them in SEC then they would have a luxury that SEC teams have. They would then have more revenue, larger recruiting base, and lets not forget they both have good coaches. In SEC they would attract more talent than what they currently have. Not to say would win SEC every year but they would be better than 6 win teams.

You must not follow CFB very closely.

TCU's schedule is better than Tex's. And their wins are much more impressive than LSU's (even if you don't account for the blow out manner in which they did it).
Go do some research.

maybe not.

You play bama, then you play Tennessee, you got Auburn next week and today you play Arkansas and today is the day your team decided to take the day off.

I think you need to go back and look at there schedule the last few years. You are smoking rope if you think they have played a tougher schedule than us the last few years.

Tall order. These ignorant jerkoffs don't know how to do anything other than talk out their arse.

And if you're not ignorant like they are, they act like you're the dumb looking one...

Based on rankings and standings, LSU is the 3rd best team in the SEC. Do you think LSU would have beaten TCU or Boise if they played in that game last night?

They'd be the 3rd best team in the conference.

This year's team would destroy us.

i'm so sick of hearing this freakin "if they played in the SEC" bullshite. Boise and TCU would have both skullfricked LSU this year. these are the same morons who say "coach Peterson/Patterson/Kelly, they would never make it in the SEC". go talk to Urban Meyer and find out if he "works" in the SEC. I would love to have Patterson or Peterson at LSU.
