Am I the only one who saw this???

The third down pass to Meacham which was said to be just short. I think the spot was horrible. Why wasn't the challenge flag thrown to review the spot. It was well over two minutes left and we had two timeouts. That could have totally changed the outcome of the game and would not have hurt anything, epecially since we had one timeout left at the end of the game. If we get that first down the punt return for touchdown never happens!!!!! They are still my boys though, just venting.

i thought the same thing, but when i saw it again he came back to the ball when he caught it he was not at the first down inches short like the refs said

Yeah it was close. I guess we didn't challenge it for the same reason Miles didn't challenge Jordan Jefferson's 1st down run on the first possession of the Bama game though.

Just didn't seem like the world hinged on it at the time.

I thought SP was waiting to run down the clock before the challenge of the spot. Although it probably would not have resulted in a first down, once they get to the 2 minute warning, challenges go out the window. So it would have only cost us a timeout.
