I am not familiar with Orlando and will be traveling with a couple of 20 yr olds (guys and girls) in our group. We don't want to go to the block party and say "sorry you can't get in, we will meet up later." Can someone familiar with the area give me some places that are 18+ rather than 21+. Thank you in advance!

LOL.

Holy shite that's funny.

I live maybe 10 minutes from there. Only time I go there is to get gyros from this little shop there. Best gyros in town.

Serious reply:

There's a lot of activity around, but the suggestion for Disney Quest is a good one for teens (kind of a virtual threme/game park) and the Downtown Disney strip in Lake Buena Vista is a better place than just trolling I Drive. THere's a big movieplex and lots of shops and restaurants. Planet Hollywood is one of the anchors but I don't recoomend anything more than the stuff on the walls to look at. THere's a pretty cool T Rex dinosaur theme restaurant (kinda younger oriented but pretty cool to wander in and look at). Also, an old friend of mine - Dominic Gaudious - performs free on the West side plaza THur-Mon. from 7-11 p.m. He's an outrageous guitarist and his hook is that he also plays dijeriedoo. LINK to some excerpts from one of his jams with the crowd

THe Bongo's and Wolfgang Puck's eateries are pretty good too.

For NYE I'm 99% sure that the LSU Orlandeaux party at Friday's Front Row is open to all ages. I know the restauarant is. It's on International Drive at Sand Lake. Scroll down for my post with details and RSVP info, but you can probably walk in.
