Erin you actually have some media influence that pretty much nobody else here has, so why don't you use it to help clear up Barksdale's rep? Especially when it's Christmas time and you can get away with reporting something good.

I never went off on Barksdale but since this blanket accusation has gotten all of us "guys" I'll give it a shot.....BUT I'm gonna go off on all collegiate athletes who put this type of crap on facebook/twitter/myspace.....They are all dumb......also bragging to the world about feeding the homeless is kinda like trying to get credit for some shite you are supposed to do

I dont know how true that jamarcus one was, i think that was bs, i searched twitter for russell, and couldnt find it. i think it was a bad attempt at humor by the guy who started that thread.

as for why barksdale may or may not have posted it, who gives a crap. anything anyone types can be taken the wrong way or as bragging, so clearly nobody will ever win in your book if they're not given the benefit of the doubt.

The answer to that question can best be conveyed by using another question......How many people would be homeless if not for the money that I pay in taxes that is given to them when they cash their welfare check???


ETA if you want a more direct answer I didn't feed any today.....and I will refrain from bragging about my contributions to those less fortunate as IMO that isn't very flattering.
