Why didn't Trent keep this kid?

He committed to Brady not Trent. He did not want to play for us once we fired Brady.

I had a "dream" thread on the rant today about what if we landed Greg Monroe and kept Tommy Mason-Griffin committed.

Starters
C: Greg Monroe
PF: Storm Warren
SF: Tasmin Mitchell
SG: Bo Spencer
PG: Tommy Mason-Griffin

Bench
C: Garrett Green
PF: Dennis Harris
SF: Eddie Ludwig
SG: Aaron Dotson
PG: Chris Bass

That team would be pretty damn good

Monroe was never really considering LSU though, but I agree that would have been a great team.

On the other hand, I think we are glad now that J'Mison Morgan isn't wasting a scholarship on the LSU bench.

Went pro after 2007-2008 season and can't say anyone should blame him. Greg Monroe I'm surprised returned for 2009-2010

Monroe hasnt turned into the star people thought. He'd help though, cause our front line blows

Only plays 30 minutes a game because Georgetown is so deep but he is their leading scorer and rebounder. He is a beast. Seen him play a few times.

If you sit your best player for 10 minutes a game in college you're deep enough there easily.

While you're dreaming why not throw Scottie Reynolds into the mix for good measure.

beastly centers dont shoot 45% and score 13 PPG

he had a great game, career highs in pts and rebounds. No doubt

how do u explain his FG% down to 45% from 57% last year?

like i said, he was struggling being the go to guy thus far. It clearly shows in his numbers.

This may have been his coming out party. Then again, Butler isnt exactly a big team. They start 4 guards and their best big is a 6-7 white boy

Relax Bruh,

Trent will have us in it in about 2 years.

By then Calipari will have left Kentucky to Coach the Los Angeles Clippers

and in 4 years, Kentucky will be on probation, AGAIN. It's Calipari's m.o. everywhere he's been....

Call me crazy, but I'd rather have Trent as our coach.

I'd love to have Monroe right now. 3/4 year guy, polished. Rebounds well, plays sound d, needs to improve his offensive game a bit. Most impressive part of his game though is his vision and passing out of the post.

Fixed it. He would have come had Butch gotten the job FWIW.
