If i'm not mistaken, JJ has started 13 games.

Prior to the NC game, MF started 12.(peach bowl+11 07' games).

the JJ lacks experience excuse needs to end. There are plenty of sophomore QB's that can lit it up. I have yet to even see JJ throw well for an entire game.
Usually his TD drives are benefited by huge runs, penalties, or big after catch moves by our WR's.

I'm ready to see a complete game by JJ.

So I guess the fact that JJ is a true soph and MF was a 5th year senior has nothing to do with it. Jesus you are a retard.

I agree. I like the way he's progressed this year, and honestly, he's played better than I expected (I figured he'd have one or two frick up games where Lee had to come in, but this never happened). Now that he's got a year of experience under his belt, we can see what we've got over the next two seasons. I doubt he'll ever be a Heisman candidate, but I think he's plenty good enough to help us get to Atlanta next December. I'm fairly optimistic about 2010, 10-2 is doable, even with our beefy schedule.

JJ has played two complete games in a row....his team on the other hand has not played one complete game and his coach still has failed to coach a complete game. get off his back.

Nothing against flynn, but it took him five years to get the starting job. No it's not because of jamarcus it's because the dude needed to grow up as a person and a player. Flynn came in multiple times before 07 and before the peach bowl, and proved he wasnt ready to start.

I'm ready to see a complete offensive line.

You idiots REALLY need to let it go. Tons of "JJ" threads started daily that can't see the forest for the trees.

Dude, seriously, he's the QB; he's not going anywhere.

Your time would probably be better spent whining about the OL.

He just turned 19 in August, and the difference between a 19 year old and a 23 year old is big.

I'm excited to see more consistent play from JJ over the next year or two (assuming he holds onto the starting job)

And I think it is true he's started more games than MF now... although he was also something like the second youngest guy (by around a month) to ever start at QB (behind Y.A. Tittle if I remember right) according to the trivia from saturday's game

So youre saying that a first year sophomore QB with barely 2 years knowledge of the playbook and the offense is "more experienced" than a senior starting QB who got spoon fed the offense for years behind J russ?

Flynn was a fifth year senior. There is no comparison there.

FLYNN HAD 4 YEARS IN THE SYSTEM before his senior year. JJ has now had TWO, but i digress, he needs coaching and learn to make better reads and go through progressions faster. It took Mauck and Russell two years in the system before they GOT IT! Davey was in 3 and Flynn 4! Very few are the exception that "get it"with less than 2 years in the system like Hodson and Tyler.

JJ is a strange one! Big, mobile but can't move in the pocket and can't see the whole field when he sets up to pass. He reminds me of a robot that is set up to telegraph what is happening. When you have physical tools like that, what a waste not to have full field vision and not have a true pocket presence (where he is at, has the periperal vision to feel the on rushing D. players) when he is back to pass in the pocket. He either get's sacked or he focusses in on one receiver and only one receiver, that is tunnel vision and not what a quality QB in this league requires to become successful. Plus he is not a leader, he is (as my Asian wife said while watching other teams play) a sissy. He is afraid to deliver the blow back to the D. players and take the necessary chances to put his team in the best situation by creating something from nothing at any time. He is too soft and takes the easy way out!

I know he is young and not a pro. Then there are so many kids his age and size, who are way beyond his ability out there around the nation playing QB. I remember watching Drew Brees when he was at Purdue and I knew that he had what it took to be a successful pro QB. D.B. is much smaller OB in the Pros, than JJ and his field presense has been there since he was at college playing for Purdue as a soph. You people give this some thought and stop babying a young man who has played 13 games of college ball. Football is a contact sport, not an excuse sport for certain individuals! These are the kind's of players that will drag a team down. I felt sorry for Lafelle this season, he didn't have a QB who could get him the ball where it was catchable half the time. NO TUNNEL VISION, NO STARRING DOWN RECEIVERS, that is B.S. at this point and time in his career. that is for sissies.
You can all think what you want, coaching, etc. he is not a quality QB on the college level. He will never play in the pros!

No, you're a fricking idiot Flynn was a 5th year Senior who backed up the 1st pick in the draft. Jefferson is a year older than me and I'm in high school. He's really as old as the kids of the class of 09. He's the age of a Freshman, besides JJ has shown that he has what it takes to be great. Get off his dick.
