Those uniforms look so gay it is pitiful. I cannot believe we are forced to use them. Nike must have given Les a BJ or something!!

LSU= gold pants, white jerseys, gold helmets,classic uni should be used for every game.

I love that helmet and color and wish the pants was the same color it better shows off the purple in my opinion.
I also would have like to have seen Gold jersies to match the helmets with the white pants I believe would have been better than the all white.
This color of the helmets is the true gold that LSU used to use, so all of you who are traditionalist should want to go back to the traditional color of Old Gold. I know I would love to see us back in the true colors of LSU.

I agree. LSU gold/yellow is a signature color for the Tigers. When I see that color on TV it clues me to check it out, etc. Also, it is the same color you find in the Madi Gras colors which is significant to LSU and Louisiana.

I love the current ones, but I think Nike did a great job, far exceeding my expectations. I love the real gold helmets. All i would chance is the stripes on the shoulder pads to stay with the same vertical stripes as the current vice those little horizontal ones...great job overall

Honest answer...I don't hate them as a football uniform. I've seen much worse ever since Miami got all cray with their uniforms 10+ years ago.
That being said, I hate them as LSU's uniforms. I'm a big fan of the traditional look that most prominent universities still hold onto in terms of uniform designs. I'm all for adding a few more options to LSU's look, but I'd like to keep them within what we consider to be our "traditional" looking uniform. Shoulder stripes, full leg stripes on the pants. so long as we keep that, I'd be totally for an all white version (traditional white jersies with matching white pants), a gold over white version, a purple over white veriosn, etc.
Just not a big fan of making LSU look like something other than LSU...

So what does traditional mean to you...only what you personally remember? It's purple and GOLD, not purple and Big Bird Yellow. Prior to Deitzel changing it to a yellowish hue, it was always gold...real gold.
I'm not a fan of our current logo slapped on the "new" old gold hemet, but I do like the gold color.
FWIW, the new EXTRA bright yellow is an even brighter shade than what was worn even in the 1970's. go back and look at images form that ear and you'll see it's almost a dirty yellow gold color...like mustard. Today it's YELLOW.

After finally seeing the Combat uni I don't hate it nearly as much as I thought I would. I still hate the helmet color and I HATE any change to the greatest uni in football just in principle. IF IT AIN"T BROKE DON"T FIX IT!!

I am a traditionalist. Always loved the white jerseys, gold (yellow) pants and helmets. Don't like the purple jerseys.
Having said that these uniforms look bad arse. I like the gold helmet too.
