Yeah we're still like $3MM over the luxury tax I think.

So if Shinn keeps Peja and we don't get under (by shedding other deals) that is roughly $14MM to Peja plus another $3MM in luxury.

If he bought Peja out for even $9MM it would be worth it, because Peja isn't worth $8M or even $5MM with his shitty production.

You raised a good point about his trade value but it's not worth shite until next season. It's a decent consolation prize but it still sucks.
