Is Peja basically killing the Hornets single handedly? He makes 14-15 million and he is a bench player now on a small market team.

not only is he a bench player. He scored barely anything off the bench.

Peja = by far...FAR...the most overpaid player in the NBA.

He absolutely is killing the Hornets. His salary and Mo Petes could allow us a big time player like Amare. I have never seen a guy making $14M in a small market perform so poorly. It's painful

I wonder what the locker room vibe is like. Chris Paul has to absolutely hate him. The team needs to change it's mascot to the Albatrosses.

Peja has the Hornets by the nuts. He needs to retire after this year. Unfortunately, he won't. He'd be crazy to pass up $14 mil to play 15 minutes of basketball a night. Our only hope is that someone will trade for his expiring contract next year. Doubtful though.

Between him (14 mil), Mo Pete (9 mil), and Posey (7mil) we have 30 mil (approx) on the bench between those three. A small market team like the Hornets can't survive like that.

Didnt like this move when we made it. Our brass has been outstanding with draft and free agents imo. This one made/makes no sense.

His years have overtaken his production.

If the effort isn't there from a handful of players how is that really Peja's fault?

yes overpaid, yes production non exsistent but this team has bigger problems than Peja
