Next time you get upset about the loss take comfort in the knowledge that because you do not live in the state of Alabama:
1. You can go out to eat and get quality food anytime you want, any day you want.
2. Your children will not grow up sounding like pathetic, drawling trailer trash.
3. Your wife does not look like or sound like Paula Dean.
4. You are not left out of the office conversation because you didn't watch the Hee-Haw rerun last night.
5. You are not shunned becaue you don't have a stock car number decal on your rear window.
6. Your job application does ask if you're a Ford man or a Chevy man.
7. You don't have to close your eyes and bow your head if someone mentions "the Bear".
