What was your experience like on your trip to Tuscaloosa? How were you treated? What were your thoughts on the campus, stadium, ladies, etc? Had a great time tailgating with some of your fans, good luck the rest of the season. This has become my favorite game of the season every year.

I was gonna start a thread about this tomorrow but ill go ahead and say it here.

I have been to pretty much all SEC schools, and yes every place has there good and bad fans. And yes i did have fun will some nice enjoyable bama fans there.

But i have never experienced so many rude, vulgar fans than yesterday, even after games we win. 6 or 7 times i had people run up to me and yell frick YOU in my face. and not just college kids, a 40 yo woman did this to me and multiple groups.

I have been to a lot of Alabama games here (wife is a Bammer and I have lived in Tuscaloosa for 18 years now) and for the most part Bama fans are generally tame and I have a lot of friends who are Bammers. But for some reason from about the 4th qtr on and after the game on the way back to the truck I dont think I have ever seen a greater collection of assholes as I saw yesterday. From booing and laughing when our players were hurt to getting in my face and screaming all kinds of bullshite. I thought Georgia fans were the most disgusting breed of people I have ever seen but yesterday changed all that.

That being said as I have said yesterday was an exception not the rule and I dont know what changed that. One play here or there and the game goes a different way but oh well.

I thought it was fun. Much nicer than the LSU campus. Of course all schools have their share of douchebag fans there were a lot who were cool before and after the game. After the game I actually had some Alabama fans come up to me and say how they even thought the refs did terrible. So overall it was an enjoyable trip

I went to a couple of games in Tuscaloosa in the 90's. I was treated just fine. I was very impressed with the stadium and the campus. No complaints here.

Good win, always remember every school has their a@@holes, but most fans are nice. And to prove this you are invited to tailgate with me next year, all you have to bring is your arse and face. LOL

Ran in to many more jerks than I normally run into at other SEC venues.

Completely different story when you aren't winning. Went to a party 1/2 LSU, 1/2 Bama. Bama tards were dead quiet until they had a lead. Then they became downright obnoxious taunters. Had to get one bitch out of my face by threatening to dump my beer on her. Her "man" had about 100 lbs on me and that pussy bitch had nothing to say. fricking retards.

Been to Alabama probably 10 or 15 times. Was really surprised by the fan behavior yesterday. That was a new experience for me with that fan base. I was stunned by the booing of our players who were injured, even when they were being helped off the field by trainers. It wasn't a "few fans", it wss the entire stadium. The walk back to the car was incredible also. The number of "F you LSU" that we heard from the DJ's at the tailgates was almost comical. The comments about them having Saban and us having our "retarded coach", the encouragement to take our "bayou trash" out of their town, all very surprising. Several Bama fans walking along with us apologized and said they were embarrassed by the behavior of their fans. Not sure what the deal was and why they were so nasty yesterday. I guess it's been so long since they beat us there, they were taking out some frustration. Talked to many LSU fans at the hotel who had the same experience.

Do any of you see the day when a fan starts shooting a fan or fans of the opposing team in the SEC because somebody goes too far with the wrong person? I don't think we're that far away from something like this happening.

This is pretty sad!

This was my first trip to Tuscaloosa. Before the game I was surprised at how well the two fan bases were mingling and having good natured fun. But just like others have said, in the 4th quarter and after the game they all turned to assholes. Nobody was able to say, good game.. or have a safe trip home.. they were the most sore winners I've ever been around.

Was a mixed bag; On way back to the car had several Roll Tide's shouted in my face, and couple of young punks get up in my face with some taunting garbage which we promptly ignored and went on; The last guy we came upon said "hey, that was a bad call you,ll had there but it was a great game- good luck the rest of the way" To which I replied "same to you dude" and we headed back to B'ham where no one else said anything about the game.
Overall, was not the worst treatment (ie;Florida)especially as stated others before game was pretty good atmosphere and afterwards they acted as if they hadn't been there before(SEC Title)!

Like everyone else said...nothing to say before the game and then trash talking (F ya'll, F this, F that) after they hit the field goal to put it out of reach.

Cheering every time one of our players were hurt.

Stadium was terrible - no replay screen, terrible layout, no decent food - they served funnel cakes for Christ sake (they call it an "Elephant Ear"). Stadium announcer was awful. Pumped in ghetto music was garbage. All around terrible experience.

Then went to their "world famous seafood restaurant", Wentzel's, and it was absolutely awful food and the BAMA fans didn't make a peep (like they had lost). Weird people - weird place.

Tuscaloosa is an armpit.

This was my first trip to Tuscaloosa, and I must say that other than the outcome of the game, the rest of the trip was great. We tailgated in the Boyscout lot so it was mostly LSU fans. I sat in section U3B row 2, and everyone in my section was friendly. Actually the lady behind me made the comment that the fans booing when T Bob went down made her sick. They never once were rude and shook my hand after the game was over. Maybe my experience was the exception to the rule, but I will definately make the trip again.

I think it was hit or miss. I agree with everyone on the treatment before the game. I walked around a lot and everyone was nice and wished us good luck. During the game, I have to admit, an LSU fan was "That Guy". Between throwing up on the bama fans in front of him, and him bothering the elderly couple on his left, I was ashamed he wore purple and gold. After the game, there was plently of RTR, and other Bama crap, but no worse than what I expected beforehand.

In my 49 years, I have NEVER witnessed or experienced treatment like my family and I did last night after the game. We left the game with about 3 minutes to go, to begin the long trek to our car and hopefully avoid some of the traffic. Redneck Bama fans (and students) were lined on the sidewalks, waiting for folks to come by. They were over-the-top, and getting right in LSU fans' faces - women and children alike. Some of the Tiger fans I heard couldn't believe that girls, especially, were behaving that way. I've never seen fans "asking for it" like these were - it was all we could do to keep walking ahead, look straight ahead, and not pummel some of them. They even got on a little boy when he wouldn't high-five them as they were yelling in his face.
I never felt like this before, but from here on out, I will pull for ANYONE who is playing the tide. I'd always thought that ole miss fans were the worst, but these are right up there...
