Never been to any of these 4 - I looked at the menu for Stanley and considered going yesterday morning, but we ended up at Betsy's Pancake House instead - Betsy's was delicious - I had pecan belgien waffle and a perfectly cooked egg over easy - husband had shortstack (that was huge), egg, grits, toast, and sausage - we both had coffee - everything was great and good portions and the bill was only $19 - I hate going places like the Broken Egg and getting a bill for $30+ before tip for breakfast - sorry but breakfast should not cost that much - its just breakfast.

I like a cheep diner breakfast also. But, I can't get eggs benidict at a diner without the eggs coming out completely cooked. A great breakfast place will cook my eggs really runny, and I am willing to pay for that ability, along with real napkins, and a server with all their teeth. If an egg cost 10 cents to buy, and table service, and napkins, and happy servers, and all the other things that make the more expensive breakfast places the way I like them more expensive; then so be it. It's my dollar to enjoy.

Love Betsy's. I have been going there since I was little and still get excited when the staff greets me with that "Hayy Babbay." Sure do miss Ms. Betsy....

The Ruby Slipper is good, but I think they are overpriced only because I compare them to Betsy's...
