Comments on Alex Smith, Crabtree, and Vernon Davis?

I can't believe there's no thread discussing Sunday's emergence of the 49ers. I know Houston's defense sometimes makes mediocre teams look good, but there's no ignoring Smith numbers--the guy only played one half, Crabtree's 56 on 5 catches, and Davis's 3 TDs.
So what do you think about:
1. Does Smith replace Hill for the rest of the season?
2. Was Crabtree having beginner's luck or is he the real deal this early?
3. Why didn't I draft Vernon Davis?

I didn't draft Davis either but I picked him up off waivers and have started him ever since over my bust of a TE in Dustin Keller!

Yup. Sometimes teams just need a little spark. Right now the former #1 pick is it. Dont get too excited though. He'll eventually remind you why he got benched.

I think he is the real deal at WR in the NFL. Fantasy wise not yet. He's still got a lot to learn and will be worth a lot in the future. From what I've read, his route running is amazing. Best route runner ever was Jerry Rice and he turned out to have an ok career. We'll see.

Bcs that sorry mofo has burned be before and he got sent to the showers DURING a game last year. I did pick him up off waivers then traded him for Braylon Edwards. FML.

I picked up Vernon Davis in both leagues I play in.
I started him in both leagues yesterday.
